Sink or Swim is an intensive, waterless ointment designed for skin that actually works. Suitable for inked and uninked skin, sensitive skin, and unlike thin lotions that disappear, this formula creates a heavy-duty, water-resistant seal that stays on the surface to lock moisture in and keep the environment out. 

Smooth, Butter-Free Performance

We’ve ditched the shea and mango butters to eliminate the graininess and "grit" found in traditional balms. By using a specialised blend of plant-based waxes and oils, we’ve achieved a glossy, stable texture that applies smoothly every time, regardless of the temperature.

The Triple Infusion

At its core is a powerhouse infusion of wild-harvested Kawakawa, Mānuka, and Calendula. We slow-steep these botanicals to extract maximum potency, finished with a hint of natural Vanilla and Jojoba.

The Barrier: High-viscosity Castor Oil creates a breathable, water-resistant "cushion" against wind, cold, and frequent washing.

How to Use

1. Start with clean, dry skin

Tip: For maximum hydration, apply while skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture.

2. Warm a small amount

Since this is a waterless concentrate, a little goes a long way. Melt a pea-sized amount between your fingers to activate the infused oils.

3. Massage into targeted areas

Focus on dry patches, hands, lips, or any area with a compromised skin barrier.

4. Reapply if needed

Reapply for continuous protection Gentle enough for repeat use throughout the day.

Can be used as part of your morning or evening routine, or anytime your skin needs an extra layer of botanical care.

Safety

Patch Test Recommended: As with all skincare products containing potent botanical extracts, we recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours prior to full use.

Storage of Product

General Care: Keep out of reach of children.

Temperature Guide: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Because we do not use synthetic hardeners, high temperatures may soften the natural waxes. If this occurs, simply place the tin in the fridge for 20 minutes to reset the smooth texture.
